Basic HTML

I am no techie by any means. However, over the years, I have been asked how I learned how to make websites. At the time when I discovered websites, the resources that teach and educate were not part of the internet yet. I have taught myself most of what I know about making websites and graphics. There is no real 'big secret' to it. Basic HTML is basic and it is the foundation for making websites. If you want to learn, I will give you the information you need to create your own space on the web. My lessons are designed so you can complete them at your own pace. I have included homework assignments that you can submit to me for review, if you like. Always feel free to email me with questions. If you already know how to make a website, this is not the place for you unless you are just curious about what I am offering. This is the basics of HTML to create a site, your imagination and content make it what it becomes.
There is one condition that I ask of everyone. Please do not redistribute my lessons. Share the link to my site so others may find the lessons. I've put a substantial amount of time and energy into writing the lessons so they are easy to understand. I hope you find this information useful and that it guides you into the wonderful world of websites. If you are ready to become a web designer, here's the information on how you can do it. The lessons are below -- I suggest you follow them in order that they are presented. Each lesson opens in a new browser window and is created on a very basic webpage so you can print it easily.
