sheyzz art

As a young girl of 11 years, I began sketching and developed a real interest in art. That summer I drew a cartoon book in ink and gave it to my cousin. It was quite a bit of detail and I was proud of the end result. In high school, teachers and friends had me drawing posters and cartoons for the school newspaper. My last cartoon was on the front page of the paper and was dedicated to my graduating class. Sadly, I quit making anything after I graduated from high school.
Years later as I was learning how to make websites, I came across Paint Shop Pro which opened the door to digital art for me. Since 1998, I have created images from tutorials and from my own imagination. The above image was created for a web set that I designed for an online group. My images tend to be romantic and feminine.
This section of my site is devoted to my creations that I make without the assistance of a tutorial. I want to share them with others who appreciate art. Also, recently, I once again picked up my pencil and drawing pad and have started sketching. It is a rough start but with practice, I'm sure it will come back to me. I intend to share those creations on the site as well. You'll find them here once I create something that is worthy of showing off.
For those who have asked me to write tutorials for the images that I create on my own, I apologize but my skills for writing tutorials are truly awful. The way that I create is also not conducive to a tutorial either. What you see in the end has taken many hits and misses along the way, a bunch of chaos, and I'm not sure sometimes how the image came to be what it is. I cannot repeat what I did so I could write about it. Needless to say, I hope these images inspire those with an interest in digital manipulation software and foster creative ideas. Enjoy your stay and return often to see what I've added since your last visit.
